Text Excellence was founded in July, 2001 by Robert B. Kennedy.

Robert is president and technical writer. He earned his B.A. in English at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and has worked as a writer and translator for over eight years.

Grace James is technical and business communications writer. She earned multiple B.S. degrees (in Computer Science and Mathematics) and has over 7 years' experience as project manager and writer. In her last position, at Apex Knowledge Transfer, she supervised multiple teams of writers.
